Ponder This Break Down…

[Transcribed from podcast #315] A great way to approach our daily interactions with others is to look at it like a game. Typically when we bump up against others in our daily lives we are thinking of them and us. We think they are external to the self. They want something, I want something, we are both trying to get what we want out of the interaction. As a different approach, see what kind of results you get, where you approach the other person with the mentality, wherever I go I’m there waiting for myself. That way it goes back to we are all just reflections of one another. So instead of approaching that person as external to yourself think of them as you outside of you. Then compassion becomes a natural emotion to arise when you are playing with reality in this way. Try to remember to bring this into focus, into the front and center, as much as possible. As much as you can remember. The more you can stay focused on everywhere I go it’s me waiting for me, and how do I serve, then you will find the opportunities to give away what you want for yourself to someone else. Always do it, because it will come back around.

Wayne Dyer always says it so eloquently. He is such an inspiration and one of my favorite teachers. He says, How may I serve? Feeling good or feeling God? Feeling good is feeling God, and it comes from serving. Excuses are all about blame. When you shift to compassion blame disappears. You begin thinking like God thinks when you are in that compassionate perspective. The Dalai Lama says that compassion is the single most important quality to foster in oneself. If we could imagine all of us having our children meditate for an hour a week, 10 minutes a day, war would end in a generation. If you could imagine getting everyone to comply. When you meditate you are feeling such a deep profound bliss and relaxation. It becomes addictive to create that feeling and if you start a child young I can’t imagine them ever wanting to stop. I am just now in my life practicing meditation more and more. I have good periods where I am really good about it. I have others where I’m too busy and put it off. At the end of the day, like Osho says, everyone should meditate 15 minutes a day unless you’re too busy you should meditate 30. You need to make the time. It’s super important. The bottom line is when you serve you become like God. You do not attract what you want, you attract what you are. That’s a super powerful and profound concept. So be what you want to see more of. You want compassion, be compassionate. The universe will now look at you and say, “how can I show you compassion in return?” It’s so simple yet so many of us are missing it, not realizing the shortcut to having everything we want. We are wired for compassion it’s part of our makeup. It’s who we are, part of the interconnectedness of all things.

Inspiring Five-Year-Old Magician Shocks the Crowd with Real Magic!

A five-year-old magician goes to the beach to spread his message of positivity… his first trick is cute… but his second feat of “real magic” stuns and delights everyone!

As small children, fresh from the other side, we have so much compassion. We start to lose that as we grow older and become disconnected from our Source. As we get more ingrained into culture we become more separated. Culture has been designed to create separation. Of course, separation itself is also part of the cosmic game, all a part of the collective soul’s journey. However, I believe we are entering a time where it’s time to move away from separation and back to unification. I believe most everyone, especially those spiritually focused, would agree that is happening. Look at the internet for example, information is all connected and flies at the speed of light. Everything is linking up and as a result, more awareness and more compassion are coming to the surface. It’s an exciting time to be alive. There is less of what is in it for me and more of what is in it for us happening, what’s in it for the whole. The irony there is when you have that approach you are going to attract more of what’s in it for you because we are all one. Whatever you do for yourself you do for everyone. There are many people out there that still don’t get this. It can seem so basic to us now, but it’s one thing to talk about and it’s another thing to really live up to and do. Especially when life circumstances are difficult. Knowing this stuff is one thing, living it is another. We are constantly being challenged and humbled on our journey.

There are many ways to practice compassion. One simple way is reciting a mantra. Barbara Schmidt and her book, The Practice, says choosing a sacred mantra will help to foster this remembrance, this awareness in the now. A mantra is a sacred phrase or centering prayer. It helps train your mind to pay attention and stay focused in the present moment. It creates space between chaotic or competing thoughts. It intercepts or slows the rush of thoughts in your mind. It resonates at the core of your heart, your truest self as a sacred friend. It is a loyal steadfast companion and a source of unconditional support. That’s exactly the positive focus relationship each of us needs in our life. In the book she describes different mantras from all different religions; Buddhism, Christianity, Hindu, Aramaic, Islam, Judaism, Native American, all different mantras that have been charged with all this energy put into them over centuries. The energy of different spiritual seekers using these mantras to resonate with a certain vibration of compassion, understanding, and remembering our divine self.

One mantra is Om Mani Padme Hum. This is a Buddhist mantra that Barb defines as “behold the jewel and the lotus within.” The lotus is always used as a representation of awakening, a flowering. In spiritual circles you see the lotus referenced a lot in that way, it’s a symbol of the whole journey. It’s nice to have a simple mantra to use to help with this concept of fostering compassion and remembering in each moment.

Om Mani Padme Hum is a mantra that may be said as a prayer for all sentient beings, that they may be free of inner and outer suffering. The mantra itself encompasses all of the teachings of the Buddha in one single phrase. When you break down all of the sacred sounds and tones we can relate them to each chakra. Om, the primordial essence, creator energy, root chakra. Ma is pure ethics, awareness, second chakra. Ni, tolerance and patience, which goes along with the solar plexus and how we deal with each other in our interactions. Pad symbolizes love and compassion, the heart chakra. Me is concentration, the throat chakra. Hum, the third eye, intuition or wisdom. When you put the sounds/tones all together they form the whole, the crown chakra the totality of one through six.

In her book, the practice, Barbara talks about choosing a sacred mantra. She gives many different ones from different sacred traditions. She says to find one that resonates with you and try it for a few weeks. Try it regularly to connect with your inner peace to find your source in any moment. Any moment where you are feeling anxious, off, or something is wrong….use it. I have found that using this mantra instantly brings relaxation, lack of stress, connection and awareness. Using a sacred mantra is a simple but very powerful tool.

Ponder This Break Down…

[Transcribed from podcast #308] Eckhart Tolle in The Power of Now, talks about Dissolving the Pain Body (chap. 6). The pain body being the part of self that needs healing, the ego-self.  Essentially, whenever you get angry or upset or negative it is almost like being possessed and taken over. We acknowledge this as part of ourselves and we get lost in that pain. We become it, almost like a light switch being flipped. What’s really happening is there is a part of ourself that needs healing, needs processing, needs love, needs reintegration into the whole.

It’s like the unobserved mind is running your life. It is always coming from some form of non-acceptance of what is. At an emotional level it appears as negativity. It happens to all of us at different times. It’s essentially a resistance to the present moment. That is what a lot of the book talks about, moving into the now and finding peace. You are always okay in the now. The past doesn’t exist exactly like you remember it. You certainly can’t show it to me and prove it to me. The future is never going to come like you imagine. Yet you’re always okay in the now. All your pain comes from projections into the past and future. If you can relax into the now it helps to get you into that state of peace we are all striving for. Eckhart says the more you honor the now, the more you’re free of suffering. All pain is an illusion according to many spiritual teachers. But if you’re lost, that doesn’t really help you, so how can you make it true for you?

Inspiring Five Year-Old Magician Shocks the Crowd with Real Magic!

A five year-old magician goes to the beach to spread his message of positivity… his first trick is cute… but his second feat of “real magic” stuns and delights everyone!

He also points out, that every high has a seed for pain in it. Being at peace with what is doesn’t mean it’s always going to be happiness, but peace you can always find. The emotional pain body is either dormant or active. The moment you observe it the identification with it is broken. He calls it presence. It can no longer use you and replenish itself through you. You found your innermost power once you start down this path. This is so important to get and understand. How empowering, the trick is up! This thing that has sort of been running you can no longer run you.  It’s like a vacuum after pulling the plug, the vacuum may continue running for a moment, you may react to your next situation but that observation portion of yourself is going to move into the forefront and you’re going to catch yourself more and more until the vacuum winds down. It can only survive if it gets you to unconsciously identify with it and once you no longer do that you start down the road of self-healing.

When dealing with another’s pain body, Eckhart Tolle suggests saying as little as possible, be as present as possible, and be as compassionate as possible. A high degree of presence is necessary, and to deal with this sometimes you will need to remove yourself so that pain body can dissipate. It’s more trying if they’re in the same physical space with you all the time. It certainly is a challenge, but we can make the most of it and overcome the challenges. We can turn the lump of coal into a diamond. Imagine. Play the game. Start playing a game. It’s there for a reason. That it is happening for you, not to you. It is happening so you can hone your skills of creating your reality. You can start creating some time (maybe meditation time) where you imagine that person as you would like them to show up. Imagine what it would be like to see the transformation as they come out of it. Maybe you do things physically to help. Maybe you can offer them books to read (like The Power of Now), or podcasts to listen to, or videos to watch. Anything that can help expand their perspective. Make it a game. Practice being and sending love to them. Practice imagining. This can be such a fun game. Imagine them as you want them to be. Incredible transformations can happen. If indeed there are infinite versions of reality, then there is a version where they have the light of awareness go on and they can come out of it. Start imagining stepping into that version of reality and how rewarding it would feel. Don’t just think about it, but drum up the feelings. The feelings of what it would be like for them to show up the way you envision it. Imagine the highest, greatest and grandest version and start playing that game. Then even if it’s not happening, still continue to do it. Continue to put energy into it. Use it as a challenge for you to be as present as possible, compassionate as possible. Bringing in a high degree of presence. What are they doing? They are honing your craft. They are working you out. When you can bring that awareness to it, then you can make a game out of it. You will, I believe, see all kinds of improvement in yourself and them and everyone’s going to start winning. Now you can ask yourself, is this a negative situation or a positive situation? It is challenging but what great victory doesn’t come without a great challenge. So, that is my biggest piece of advice. Make it a game. Practice on them, imagine them showing up as you create them. You are the Creator, director, and lead actor in your own movie. This is your story. Where is it going to go next? How are you going to write it energetically?

The Power of Now also offers a great perspective for relationships, any relationship, especially romantic relationships. You can listen to the audio book or read it together. Once you both acknowledge how the pain body works, make an agreement with each other that you’re going to acknowledge when each other’s pain body is active. That doesn’t mean pointing the finger and telling them they are screwing up, making it worse. But very calmly being a check and balance for each other. Helping each other. If you can get to a place in your relationship where this is a part, especially if you’re having a lot of issues, fussing or negativity between you and your partner. If you can both get to a point where you acknowledge how this ego pain body works; and that you’re also going to help each other to be aware when the other slips into their pain body. Now you’re working together. Talk about a healing practice to participate in with your partner. I can’t encourage anything more strongly than that. Bringing the light of awareness and then also an activity to help each other. What a perfect opportunity for everyone.

Ponder This Break Down…

[Transcribed from podcast #307] When you focus on the things you are grateful for it opens you to the source of all those things. What a great and beautiful concept. When I am focused on appreciation or gratitude, what am I doing? I am getting into the vibrational pull of the source from which those things emanated. Well, guess what lies at the source? Unlimited amounts of things to be grateful for. So, when you focus on those things, you are opening to the source of the things that you’re grateful, for which brings more. Deepak Chopra talks about removing the ego, which instantly puts you in touch with your spirit, your higher self. Ego: Everyone’s Greatest Obstacle, or Edging God Out. It is a barrier. Not to say that ego is bad, it’s meant to help us navigate the physical dimension. But it’s not meant to be steering the ship. Your soul, your higher self is meant to be steering the ship. What happens is it instantly removes the ego, it instantly puts you in touch with your higher self, now you’re tapped in. Not only are you tapped into the source of all the things to be grateful for, calling forth more, now your soul is helping to steer you and guide you. That’s always a good thing. Deepak also gives great recommendations like keeping a gratitude journal. Some of you may have done this, if not, consider doing it. Just jotting something down, even if it’s not in a journal. Just spending each day and taking a few moments to focus on the things you are appreciative and grateful for, this calls in more abundance.

Inspiring Five Year-Old Magician Shocks the Crowd with Real Magic!

A five year-old magician goes to the beach to spread his message of positivity… his first trick is cute… but his second feat of “real magic” stuns and delights everyone!

The highest level of gratitude is for existence itself, being grateful just as I am. It took 14 billion years of creative evolution to make you. Whenever you’re looking at yourself and thinking, “I’m too fat, I’m not smart enough, I’m too ‘this’, I can’t do ‘that’…” You are the tip of the iceberg, you are the 14 billion year product of the universe. Look at how powerful the universe is, look at how majestic, how magical, how incredibly intense it is. You are that. You are the tip of that. You are the cutting edge of that. So whenever you are thinking of yourself as small think of the Rumi quote, “We come spinning out of nothingness scattering stars like dust.” You are a star. You are literally part of a star that once lived it’s full life cycle of billions of years and then died and exploded outwards. A supernova reformed into this solar system, this planet, this you, up out of the earth. You come spinning out of nothing, a star reborn you are stardust. Deepak said, “You are stardust luminous being that has become self-aware.” Whenever you are feeling small, realize that. Whenever you’re feeling anger or judgment or resentment or not in touch with gratitude just look around. How beautiful the opportunity it is for you that you can be here now. That you are becoming more than you were before. We are all together collectively. We’re all just walking each other home. Be grateful. You are because the universe is. If you can move into that state of, “I will not judge anything that happens today.” Try that, “I’m not going to judge anything, I’m just grateful to be, period. There’s nothing I need to do.”

As Abraham says often times you’ll never get it done, you’re in eternity, and eternity is now. You’re not done. You’re still growing. You’re still expanding. It’s going to continue a zillion years from now, a zillion incarnations from now. You’ll be doing it in different ways. You’ll be at different stages of understanding and observing yourself. Expect nothing and appreciate everything. Move into that. Expect nothing, appreciate everything. You need nothing. You are a self-sufficient being. All of your worries, they are a joke to the universe that is you, that is an extended part of you. There’s nothing that can’t be done. Are you kidding? The source from which you emanate can deal with anything. So relax about it all. Relax into gratitude for what you have, appreciation for what you have, and from that place you’ll get all the things that you need. Stressing your way there is not the path. I know so many of us do that, I know I’ve done it. It’s a daily conscious effort not to do it. Here you are in this exact moment, you are feeling it, you are getting it, you are understanding. You are an expanded version of yourself. Congratulations for that! I am so grateful for you because as you expand I expand. Because you are a reflection of me and I am a reflection of you. Together we are doing this. We are touching other lives. You’re going to rub off on the person next to you whether you tell them about this podcast or you tell them about the things you’re learning, or you don’t say anything at all. Your energy, your vibration is changing them. They say some masters get to a point where they just walk into a room and people are automatically shifted because of the energetic change.  We can look at it from the scientific standpoint, you are emanating energy all around you. As you dance in these concepts, these ideas and you make them a part of your being you are affecting those around you with your field just by being there. What a powerful concept. What a powerful being you are. Be proud of yourself. Be grateful first and foremost for yourself to be doing this work. You’ve got this. We’ve got this. Continue to spread the love and gratitude.

Ponder This Break Down…

[Transcribed from podcast #305] I would say, that déjà vu is a reassurance from my higher self that I am where I need to be. When you realize that time is an illusion, it is essentially just like a TV channel that you’re tuning into. At this moment your fifth birthday party is currently going on on another channel. Your future self is also happening right now on a different channel. It just feels linear. That’s the way Source lays it out. Everything happens in the now, but without time it falls apart as quickly as it happens. Time is like the glue that gives it the sequence of events, the chronology. It gives us time to reflect on it, experience it and so forth. So for me, déjà vu is when you’re becoming aware. It’s like a future remembering, it feels really familiar, like I have done this before. Leaking through to your now to give you a different perspective. It doesn’t feel like it’s this fresh event because it’s like you have an expanded awareness about all that is and as a result it seems familiar. It could also be something that you’ve dreamed and didn’t remember. When it comes up it is familiar again. It is all the same spiral of the time continuum. We are just focused on or tuning our channel to that one station. Although there are infinite other channels to choose from, we are focused on just one. There are not only infinite channels in the past and in the future, linearly speaking, but also side to side, parallel realities. It’s about making choices. You choose your own adventure. Every time you make even the smallest decision, the other choices split off in their own reality and actually occur. Think about if we were aware of all of it simultaneously, it would blow our minds. We wouldn’t be able to handle it all, so we focus on just one channel.

Inspiring Five Year-Old Magician Shocks the Crowd with Real Magic!

A five year-old magician goes to the beach to spread his message of positivity… his first trick is cute… but his second feat of “real magic” stuns and delights everyone!

Your life plays out at the corner where free will and destiny meet. You have the freewill to choose what you want to experience from the infinite versions of self. Our goal, of course, being able to experience the greatest and grandest version, the version that is the most rewarding. The good news is, you’ve already done it in eternity. In the timeless now. Your job becomes to get into vibrational alignment with the unfolding of that version of yourself. The more in alignment you are, then everything will fall into place. This is also when you will experience deja vu. When you’re in alignment, more is leaking in and when more is leaking in, it is because you have more of an expanded awareness. The more in alignment you are, the larger your viewpoint gets. You get a wider perspective. The more you’re letting in, the more in alignment you are with greater and grander truths. The more leakage there is from the other side, the more déjà vu, and so on ad infinitum.

As my favorite teacher Abraham points out, as you become more aware of what is going on before it manifests, the more pleasure you take in the unfolding of it. You become more aware that it’s in your vortex. It’s already happened what you choose to call forth and then it starts manifesting. It feels like I knew this, I felt it coming, I co-created it coming, look how magical this is, look how magical I Am. I am creating my reality. It makes you super pleased with yourself. You’re watching something unfold, you called it from the get-go and you played your cards right. Then it came into your reality. Often times this is where people can get hung up. They are putting something into their vortex or wanting it to unfold, but the universe will often hand you a twist in how it manifests. We allow ourselves to get bent on why, what’s wrong with us, why didn’t we get it right. Really what you’re getting is, you’ve heard the saying “you don’t always get what you want, you get what you need”. In that case, you need to learn to let go of expectations. It is a dance of putting it into the vortex, and doing what you can to see it unfold. When it unfolds you’re super pleased with yourself. When it doesn’t, the best thing you can do is to let go of the expectation. Know that you’re always getting exactly what you need. It may not be for your highest and best. Your higher self knows you may want something to manifest and you can’t see all the chess moves playing out so you think it’s good when really it’s not. Quit judging things based on what you think. Our perspective is, even though we’re expanding it, still somewhat limited, very limited compared to our higher self. It’s seeing from the vantage point that is from very zoomed out, they can see the whole board, the whole map. It can seem unfair. That’s the game we signed up for.  It is how we learn, maybe the best way to learn. We are like a primitive way of experiencing in a sense, not meaning it’s better or worse. It is  just different from the highest vibrational state where it’s all unfolding instantly and we have access to all. It is like we are dragging around these low vibration bodies, these meat coated skeletons. When you really get into the flow you begin to feel invincible and a sense of well-being. You can feel all the pieces coming to assist you. One of my favorite quotes is, “Do you want to know what my secret is? You see, I don’t mind what happens.” That is so powerful, you become invincible when you are moving to this place of I don’t mind what happens. I know it’s always for my greater good. I just have ideas but really my perspective is somewhat limited. When I see my ideas manifest the way I envision them and call them forth, I know I’m really getting in greater and greater alignment and I feel proud of that fact and it makes it fun. I’m not going to beat myself up when there are differences when the expectations aren’t met.

The universe is always looking out for us. I know I’m taken care of, I can relax knowing that the universe wouldn’t let you miss anything.  There are so many ways to get where we want to be. It doesn’t matter how many mistakes you’ve made, you can make a thousand and one mistakes on a thousand and two you’re gonna get it right. I don’t care if you’re 68 years old, 73 years old, a hundred and 73 years old, it doesn’t matter. Bring that childlike part of yourself, that eternal child that you are at your core. Bring it forward. Bring it into this moment and know that you are never too late to get it right, to have your dream become more dreamy. It doesn’t matter how many mistakes you’ve made. The fact is, you’re still in it. You’re in eternity, it doesn’t matter, you’re never too late. You are never going to run out of chances to get it right. In this life, the next life, a billion years from now you can make up a billion years worth of getting it wrong and on the billion and first year you finally get it right, it’s a drop in the bucket in eternity. Jesus said, ”lest you become like a child you can’t enter the kingdom of heaven.” That kingdom of heaven is now. This state of being in that childlike awe and wonder. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve missed. You can’t ultimately miss the boat. The greatest lie of all time is “too late for me I missed the boat”  Nope. That’s just a wrong thought and a misunderstanding about what is truly going on here. You can’t miss.  It’s the great cosmic laugh. If you can bring that awareness to your life right now you will totally change course. If you have been defeated, run down, or tired, it happens to many. Resuscitate yourself with awareness and perspective and true understanding of the nature of the reality in which you find yourself. Remember, someone is always looking out for you, the universe always has your back. Always and all ways. The more you can remember that, the easier life is, the easier it is to listen to your guidance and experience being in the vortex.  It is a magical world we live in, deja vu, dreams, to reality. I love you all. I’m so thankful to be awakening in this dream and finding you all here.

Ponder This Break Down…

[Transcribed from podcast #304] There are many different kinds of dreams. Each associated with a feeling of it’s own, which varies for each individual. The most common are symbolic dreams. These are the ones that are confusing. They are a way for our higher self to communicate messages. Prophetic dreams can tell you what is going to happen in the future, but are sometimes hard to distinguish from symbolic dreams. The visitation dreams, where you visit with loved ones, almost have a sense of awareness that it is happening in another level or dimension.

It definitely rings true for me what I’ve heard Eben Alexander (and others) share from his experience on the other side, that we are all soul-family/soul-group and come together with our soul-family/soul-group when we cross back over. We bring back whatever lessons that we individually learned and we contribute them to the whole. So we all benefit from one another. That’s a pretty interesting concept.

The concept of sitting with your counsel soul family to plan your soul contracts prior to incarnating in the physical dimension is an interesting one to consider as well. The idea that you plan all the interplay that can happen with other souls in the dream that is your physical life. They say even people who are still alive at the time will be there in spirit to help make those plans.

Inspiring Five Year-Old Magician Shocks the Crowd with Real Magic!

A five year-old magician goes to the beach to spread his message of positivity… his first trick is cute… but his second feat of “real magic” stuns and delights everyone!

Which makes sense if it is eternally now and from the spiritual dimension there is no time, that a part of us is here and there simultaneously. So what that would mean, is if your grandmother passes when you’re just a kid, your soul is there waiting for her because your soul is in eternity. That’s enough to make your mind melt thinking about that.

This is supposedly another thing our soul does when we are sleeping. We go to check in with our soul family, help others transition, or maybe even attend spiritual schooling of some kind.

A great way to work with and learn from our dreams is by keeping a dream journal. Write them down as soon as you awaken. It’s like co-creating and participating in that way. Set your intention to remember your dreams and ask for help.

“All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.” ~ Edgar Allen Poe

The concept of dreaming is that it’s all sort of like the nested Russian dolls. Our reality is fractals. From my perspective we are God dreaming right now. We are the dreamer and the dream rolled into one. This is how God experiences herself. It’s all nested. When you dream at night you’re dreaming within the dream which, who knows how deep it goes. It’s kind of like the concept of this physical dimension is a reflection of the spiritual dimension. What would you see? We see repeating fractals. The atoms and particles spinning around the nucleus is the same as the solar system which is a part of a bigger system which is a part of a bigger system. They just realized there’s 10 times more galaxies than they ever thought there was a month ago, it’s like it doesn’t end. And then there’s the concept of the multiverse. So it’s just this nested dream reality, so we’re in a dream right now. This whole thing is just a dream, it’s just a very vivid lucid dream. But at the end of the day, you’re hearing me, if you’re looking around right now everything you’re seeing is light projections. It’s the projection. It’s holographic in nature, the whole reality. We are in the dream right now talking about dreams and then we’ll go to sleep at night. We’ll have another dream within the dream. It will make your mind melt for sure.

The beautiful thing about realizing it’s all a dream is that you’re the dreamer and the dream. You’re the base reality from which it all projects. When you understand that piece, that’s what we’re always talking about on the show. When you have the power to wake up in your dream, to become lucid in this layer. This layer of the onion which is what we call waking reality. But really how many people are sleepwalking in that reality? They’re walking around, not remembering that they come from the spiritual plane, another level. That they are the creator of this whole projection of this whole dream and that’s really what the main goal is.

I’ve had, in the past, trouble becoming lucid at night. In the future I’ll change that. But, in this waking state I’m very lucid. I am aware that I am literally the source that created this whole reality. It’s all me everywhere I go, I’m there waiting for myself, when you understand and really get that, that’s when you start controlling the dream. You become lucid, you can make magic happen. You can do all things. It’s just reflections. This concept of lucid dreaming is the exact same power you can have when you become lucid about your divinity in this waking 3D life.

Ponder This Break Down…

[Transcribed from podcast ep. #223] It’s so easy in these times to get so complicated with our lives, and to (get) so caught up in the race, so to speak—and all these ideas and comparisons, strivings to make something of ourselves, to (have) some status, climb the social ladder, so to speak…

I believe this is one of the biggest mistakes that people make: it’s getting caught up trying to get somewhere, to become something other than what they already are. I know I’ve certainly had to learn some lessons, and continue to learn lessons in regards to this subject, so it really resonates very, very strongly with me, to remember to keep it really, really simple.

Inspiring Five Year-Old Magician Shocks the Crowd with Real Magic!

A five year-old magician goes to the beach to spread his message of positivity… his first trick is cute… but his second feat of “real magic” stuns and delights everyone!

I think back to Wayne Dyer, many years ago, talking about getting rid of almost everything he owned, how hard it was for him to do that, but then the freedom that came from it—and how wonderful he felt not having that baggage tying him down… you know, keep it simple. Why do we feel the need to overcomplicate? I think one of the reasons we feel the need to overcomplicate is (that) we have a society that’s constantly putting in our face products that we need to consume and things we need to do—look like this model and own this car; all this capitalist consumerism culture that’s just out of control.

I encourage everyone to take a deep breath and just relax into the idea that just simply being you is enough: you have already made it. Just to be here, just to go through the things that you’ve been through, and to have the wonderful outlook and attitude, and still be getting up striving to become the best that you can be. You are a success, so simply be with that.

Find simple pleasures; the simple things, that’s where it’s at. It’s always the simple things. I believe, when we are on our deathbed, no one’s going to be thinking about, “did I strive and bust my butt really hard to have that fancy car? I’m gonna miss that car!” It’s not what you’re thinking… you’re thinking of those simple moments with family and friends. Create experiences over stuff all day long; create those experiences for yourself and find joy in the simple moments because they are always fleeting.

I’m such a nostalgic person myself, and I don’t necessary think that’s the best thing—it’s almost like I appreciate things after they’ve passed more than when they’re there. That’s something that I’m really trying to focus my attention on: being in the now and finding the simple pleasures in these moments, realizing that they’re all transient, they’re always passing, fleeting. It’s a special moment, each moment that won’t come back.

Ponder This Break Down…

[Transcribed from podcast #204] I chose this quote today because, as I mentioned at the top of the show, I recently did an ayahuasca journey and what came up for me has come up most of the times—I’ve done five of these—is fears; unrealistic fears, things that are sort of under the surface in myself that need to be processed.

This time it really struck home for me: “okay, these fears keep coming up”—and they’re irrational sorts of fears (which) are only coming up when I’m in this altered state… for the most part; not that I don’t have fears in waking, normal consciousness, but way way less, not nearly as often. Yet when I use the medicine ayahuasca, a lot of times these fears will bubble up, and they’re these unrealistic fears… where are they coming from? What is (this all) about..?

Inspiring Five Year-Old Magician Shocks the Crowd with Real Magic!

A five year-old magician goes to the beach to spread his message of positivity… his first trick is cute… but his second feat of “real magic” stuns and delights everyone!

This last time it really… sort of, almost in frustration, (thought) “Ah, this again! How do I get to the root of it?” And what I realized is, a lot of times what I’ve been doing on all my journeys is, when these fears would come up, I’m sort of running from them; the ego wants to… typically what we do is lay down and go within for the first few hours of the journey after taking the medicine, and instantly I find myself—I realize I’m running when these things bubble up, because they’re so realistic when you’re in this state; you feel like sort of these things are really going to play out, or are playing out and there’s danger… so for me, what I really came away with this last time is, “Confront your fears, don’t run from them—that’s how you transcend them.” After running from them in these states I realized, “that’s what I’ve been doing…” If I run from them, I stay there, I linger there; they’re still there to be processed.

Of course, this is a little different than what Yoda is talking about here; (that) fear can ultimately lead to suffering. Well, it can lead to darkness, it can lead to anger, it can lead to hate, it can lead to suffering—but if you’re running from your fears, you’re automatically in suffering. And so I would recommend that everyone who… next time something that is really fearful comes up—and you don’t need to be on a plant medicine like ayahuasca to experience this, of course; that’s just what I’m referencing—next time a fear comes up, notice what you do. Is there some diversion tactic? Are you trying to run from it, escape it—dodge it? I would recommend trying something different: I would recommend going within and exploring it fully; invite it in…okay, you’re bubbling up, this fear? Let’s explore this fully, let’s not dodge this anymore. Bring it—bring me all experience; I’m going to move into it completely and see where it goes.

What I believe you’ll see—where it goes—is, you move you through it: you may experience even vivid imagery of awful things happening, or even the fear may increase, but think of it like this: by bringing that courage to it… you know, F.E.A.R.: “Forget Everything And Run”, or “Face Everything And Rise”—if you face everything and rise, this is how you move through it. The fear, (this) lump of coal, turns into a diamond when you move through it. I know for myself, this is something I intend: my next journey is, I am going to face everything and rise; I’m going to move through it. Bring it! And, of course, it’s very intense when you’re on a plant medicine; you can have vivid imagery, like it’s happening; you can have all those things…

So I encourage all of us to learn from this… that was my takeaway from my last journey: do not run from the fear. Stop running from your fears; instead, sit down with them, be with them, invite them in. Close your eyes, put a blinder over yourself, put on some soft music and go into them, next time they arise—and see where that takes you for once: you’ve been running your whole life, and running is what keeps them there, I firmly believe.

Ponder This Break Down…

[Transcribed from podcast ep. #200] This quote is very, very popular; many of you have probably seen it because it is such a powerful, impactful truth about our place and time in evolution on this planet. So many people strive for power and control, and it means so much to them: they don’t realize that love is the ultimate form of power. If you let go of having, needing or wanting power, that’s really the key to getting anything!

Inspiring Five Year-Old Magician Shocks the Crowd with Real Magic!

A five year-old magician goes to the beach to spread his message of positivity… his first trick is cute… but his second feat of “real magic” stuns and delights everyone!

So many people working so hard and trying to manipulate to get power—”How do I get power—how do I become more in control? Releasing all those needs and focusing on “How do I serve? How do I love? How do I move more fully into the vibrational pull of love?” is where all authentic power comes from.

This is something that I believe we all need to remind ourselves of regularly; it’s so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day rat race of this life, status and so forth—and the ultimate status is being a giver, being unconditionally loving—if we achieve that state, any moment that we achieve that state, we are the most powerful being in the Cosmos, or as powerful as any being in the Cosmos, because it’s the ultimate, highest peak vibration.

And what is the point of it all? To have the highest, most profound peak vibration and experience that we can; that is the reason for living. So when you move into this space of unconditional love, acceptance and non-judgment, you have found the ultimate success: you are the most successful being, and as successful as any being can be—and any other power outside of that becomes very… I don’t know, minuscule in comparison; it just doesn’t hold up…

So, if we can all just start focusing regularly—every day, circling it—of course, that’s what this show is all about; it is a daily, conscious effort to focus on this… there’s so many distractions, so many things coming at us; so many reasons to judge or be angry, hate or get out of sync with this unconditionally loving vibration… but the power of all things is moving back, stepping back, into a state of love and acceptance; allowance of what is happening, and non-resistance.

Ponder This Break Down…

[Transcribed from podcast #198] What a wonderful quote this is—learning to ignore… I’ve spent so much of my life defending my idea of what is right and wrong—and with great enthusiasm and vigor arguing with people, whenever I have the chance, about why I’m right—and, from maybe many people’s perspectives… people would be in agreement more than not, and then of course your ego gets that boost of being right and winning, sort of controlling the situation…

Inspiring Five Year-Old Magician Shocks the Crowd with Real Magic!

A five year-old magician goes to the beach to spread his message of positivity… his first trick is cute… but his second feat of “real magic” stuns and delights everyone!

As I gain a little bit more wisdom, I am slowly but surely learning to let (go) of this idea, this way of approaching life: being at peace is more important than being right, and realizing that it’s okay that everyone have different perspectives; it’s okay that someone is not seeing it your way. Yes, it may be right to you—your perspective may be right to more people than not, if you were to take a poll, right? But the difference in perspective is what makes the world go ’round.

I was talking to a friend the other day and they were talking about how nauseated they are by the sort of “Kardashian world”—they just used that as an example; no offense to the Kardashians, but you know—that sort of shallow, superficial view of the world and this reality television kind of thing that makes a lot people lose faith in humanity… like, “Is this what we give our attention and energy to? Where’s some depth; where is some meaning?” You’ve got to understand: arguing that that’s wrong… it’s as right as anything is right; it is all a part of the great tapestry of this life!

Imagine… you, listening: you may think of yourself—I know I do—as somewhat of a unique, outside-the-box individual; “I’ve got something unique and somewhat special to bring to the world, with my perspective and my way of being and living, sharing…” Now imagine if everyone was exactly the same as you. Now what would it be like? “Imagine if the Kardashians were exactly like you were,” is what I said to this person that I was talking to… imagine what that would be like! It gives you no uniqueness… anything that’s not like you allows you to have definition, and this is the beauty of how Source experiences differentiation—’cause if Source is all one and it’s all love, and it’s all the same thing, then there is no contrast! So we have to have these alternative perspectives.

The next time you bump up against someone with a different perspective than your own, think of Timber Hawkeye, who says this: “If someone tells me that the sky is green, I simply say, ‘okay’. I don’t need to agree with them. I don’t need to prove them wrong, or show them ‘proof’ that I am right, if/when I believe otherwise. I simply go on with my life. With a newfound understanding that to some people the sky looks green, and I’m okay with that. It keep external conflicts from disturbing my inner peace, and isn’t that where world peace begins? With each of us being peaceful?” Love this… the great thing is that I had three quotes back-to-back today, that let me know what today’s episode was about. A couple of people shared with me, then someone posted… it was like, back to back to back: I saw, “learning to ignore things is one of the great paths to inner peace,” then this Timber Hawkeye post came at me next, and then right after that, just to solidify, “this is what you’re supposed to talk about”—my friend Tyler posted, “Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.” (Ralph Waldo Emerson)

Take all these together—great synchronicity today with this episode; if they would all come together so easy, it would make my life easier..! Taking this perspective in and really understanding; if someone doesn’t understand you, that’s okay, a lot of great minds are misunderstood… many, most; all great minds are misunderstood at some level; not everyone is going to see it your way, so let’s stop trying to convince others to see it our way. You can share… and then let go. You don’t have to take your most valuable asset—your peace of mind—and flush it down the drain in order to… be right?! What good does that do? It does no good! So this is one that I resonate with so, so strongly, and I was so happy to have today’s topic sort of delivered to me, because it’s one that I resonate with very closely; I’ve always been a fiery debater of sorts and this is something that I am slowly but surely getting. It feels really good.

Ponder This Break Down…

[Transcribed from podcast ep. #197] Love this quote—it’s Yin and Yang, worry/faith, worry/faith… we all know that person who’s all into worry… we don’t know as many people who are all into faith; at least I don’t see (them) and I am trying to become that person who is all into faith. It is my daily conscious effort; I may not always achieve it but it’s what I am setting out to do.

Inspiring Five Year-Old Magician Shocks the Crowd with Real Magic!

A five year-old magician goes to the beach to spread his message of positivity… his first trick is cute… but his second feat of “real magic” stuns and delights everyone!

I firmly believe, if you have faith, that you’ll get what you need; you always get what you need… if you look at your history, you’ve always gotten what you need. So why are you worrying? The future never shows up like you imagine it to be; fear—False Emotions Appearing Real, or having these ideas, these feelings about this bad thing that could or could not happen—worry; poor use of imagination! (laughs) You’re just using your imagination to focus on this thing that never shows up like you imagine it will; nothing ever does!

Meanwhile, if you look at your history, you’ve always been able to cope with whatever is in the Now. You’ve always gotten what you need: it may not be what you want; it may not be the easiest thing… but you’ve always gotten through it. So if you can move into that knowing that “I will always be able to cope; I’ll always be able to deal—whatever comes at me, there will be a path for me.” There are no problems; only solutions—if you can move into that more fully, it is my sincere effort to do it and I am getting better and better at it, in spite of trials and tribulations… the Universe responds to that; it makes the path easier. It likes to see you moving into that faith, knowing the Universe supports you, holds you up—you are a part of It; it has always been here for you and always will be. Let the worry go… let the worry go; let the fear go.

I think that is something we could talk about literally every day on the show (laughs) because it is such an important piece. Worry or faith: what’s it going to be? Move into a place of faith, that you will always get what you need. You are a Divine Emanation; you are a chip off the block of Source, the source that created all things. You can never not be provided for; you can worry about not being provided for, but can never not be alive and okay. Maybe it’s not what you want, like I said, but you can find peace with it. If it’s something that you don’t want, congratulations: change is guaranteed (laughs), so move into a place of radical acceptance of what is, and focus your attention on what it is you want—pay attention, buy into what you want to see more of, and accept whatever is.

This is the formula; this is the formula to happiness, peace and relaxing into your life; flowing into your life. This is within us all to do: it’s just a matter of reprogramming ourselves to look at life through this lens.
